Yesterday I organized family phtos and videos in our extern disc. I have all photos organized there by files - year and month - and, at least, I know they are safer there than in a CD or DVD.
I saw some videos of my little girls from a year ago... Oh my God, what a huge development difference!!! At the time they could barely speak, they had a huge hard time expressing themselves which frustrated them a lot, they couldn't say in words what they thought... How is it possible having some many pediatricians around them for those 3 years telling me it was normal and each child has her/his own rhythm?! I am not stupid, please!!! No matter how much time it passes by, no matter how well my little girls will be, I will ALWAYs ressent this. It was a wast tof these 3 years in rushed diagnosis of "everything is alright though there are some things they can't do".
Today I notice they talk. And they talk well. And they say difficult words without stuttering or making up. They swear (!!). And they make complex sentences and conjugate verbs. A year passed by between that video and now. It seems years passed by. Blessed Speech Therapy (a thousand thank you's for being in their lives J.!), kindergarden and Early Intervention support!
There, it'a alright now.
